The Author

Darlene Beasecker

I am the oldest of four girls who were raised in a Midwest town in Ohio. After marrying I eventually moved to Florida where the rest of my family settled. As a child, I took baton twirling and dance classes. Our family traveled all over the United States to compete. This is where I learned teamwork and how valuable it is.

Taking care of my elderly parents is one of my main focuses right now. I am a widow of two years and newly retired. After a 25-year career as a disaster recovery planner, I then began working for thirteen years as a Student Accounts Manager for a private school where I retired in May. My hobbies are simple I love to sit and watch TV and movies.

Also, days at the beach are heaven for me. I love the theatre and have directed productions at my church as the drama director and worked as a sound and light tech. I am a first-time author and have written a book for all the faithful fans of Matthew Perry. After experiencing grief myself I took to social media after the passing of Matthew and noticed there were a lot of fans that were suffering too. Although, I’m not a grief expert.

This inspired me to write a story about a grieving fan and how she is processing this grief. My focus with this book is to give those struggling with grief over Matthew and not understanding that grief a chance to see that everything is going to be ok. This is the best way I know how to give a loving tribute to the life and legacy of Matthew Perry.
